Help. I am finally accepting !!!!

I may be close to the door, but, can I get to the other side?

I am accepting that depression, if we must call it that, is actually just me, not a problem, or even an illness, just me, and I have to deal with me. I can’t run from this. I can cover it up with SSRI’s but in the end I am flat, sexually aloof, and ultimately NOT ME. I suppose meds helped in the beginning when "depression" had such grips on me there seemed no way out. " You know, I’ve been on the depressed corner of the block for freakin’ 10 years and I have realized that’s where I live and that’s that. Fuck it. I’ve tried it all as I know you have too. Blah. Even made a website for a friend of mine and to HELP people with mental illness. You think anyone gives a shit. No. And sure, there will be losers, many of them, whose heart rate will flutter as they read these words I type and get all angry… furious… and feel the need to post back some hostile message in reply to this one.
