concerning panic and coming down ill

Question:

do any of you have a real problem with pd when onset of virus/flu etc sets in? i seem to have a problem with this

It’s a problem with me too.  Actually it tends to lead towards depression, which leads into anxiety.  The only solution I’ve found is not to push myself when I get sick and to realize that it will take a couple of days past when I feel well, before I start to feel normal. Also, now that I recognize it,  I just say to myself "You’re not getting depressed, you just have the flu".  It does help, a little. Lori from SF Madness takes its toll. Please have change.

My anxiety does seem to go up a day or two before I actually realize I am sick.  But then I understand after the flu or cold symptoms are there, that that was why my anxiety had be high for the previous days.
